In 2023, 50 percent of americans will have 5G networks

Nearly half of U.S. consumers will be able to connect to 5G networks by 2023, Ericsson said recently, according to media reports.

4G networks are now common, far faster than 3G networks.

However, with the advent of IoT devices, streaming media services and on-demand content, our network requirements for mobile data have increased, forcing telecoms operators to put up network capacity and spectrum on the agenda.

Now that the 4G has arrived at the bottleneck, consumer demand for mobile devices has become more and more high.

5G standards, especially those that recycle unused band resources to support 5G network resources, are described by the industry as a way to adapt to current data requirements. This week, telecoms giant Ericsson released its latest mobile report, which said the 5G network deployment will soon enter the business promotion phase.

Ericsson said it expected the U.S.-led roll-out of 5G technology, with all its operators planning to launch 5G services by the end of 2018 to 2019. By the end of 2023, about 50% of U.S. mobile phone users will be using 5G networks.

North-East Asia is expected to follow this trend, when 34% of mobile users will use 5G networks. Western Europe will be ranked third in coverage, with 21% of users using 5G networks.

Ericsson expects the 5G network to be deployed from this year, into full deployment in 2020 and, by 2023, more than 1 billion of 5G users will use the technology, accounting for about 12% of global mobile internet users.

The expected promotion speed of 5G technology does not seem to be as fast as we think. The report also pointed out that up to now, the global monthly mobile traffic demand is close to 107 bytes per month, equivalent to each mobile user with traffic to watch 10 hours Full HD video.

Unsurprisingly, the deployment of 5G networks will begin in urban areas. It is expected that only 5G network equipment will be available at the end of 2018, the support of the medium-frequency 5G equipment will be listed in early 2019, the support of the high frequency of 5G equipment will be in the early 2019 to the mid-2019 listing.

Mobile Internet connectivity is also expected to increase over the next few years. According to Ericsson, there will be 3.5 billion Internet-connected devices in the market by 2023, a figure doubling from the projected figures for 2017.

The Chinese market’s interest in the deployment of mass-networking and the new technologies that support the vast network, including Nb-iot and CAT-M1, will make the deployment of the global Internet of things faster than expected.

Fredrik jejdling, Frederick Jedjadlin of Ericsson’s business district network, said: “In the 2018, people will start to commercialize 5G networks, as well as large-scale deployment of animals.” These new technologies are expected to bring fresh impetus, which will affect people’s lives and subvert the entire industry. But only industry participants and regulators agree on spectrum, standards and technology to achieve this goal. ”
