London’s “online shopping addiction” ratio is as high as 39%

The latest research shows that London is the most obsessed online shopping area in the UK.

A survey of 2000 British adults by Censuswide, a global consulting firm commissioned by Izettle, a payment company in October, found that 33% of Britons thought they had a “online shopping addiction”.



If divided by region, London’s “online shopping addiction” ratio is as high as 39%,that was followed by 37% in the West Midlands.

In addition, 32% of Yorkshire residents also said they were infected with “online shopping addiction”, , compared to 29% and 28% in the north-west and north-east of the UK.

Of all respondents, 35% per cent said their “online addiction” symptoms were mainly manifested in an excessive number of one-click purchases and repeated online purchases on large retailers ‘ platforms.

In addition, one in 12 respondents consider their online shopping addiction to be serious because they do it every day.

In addition, 42% per cent of respondents thought they shopped too much on large retail platforms, and 18% said they shopped two or more two times a week.

Prior to the survey, the British retail sales and KPMG (KPMG), the British Retailers Association (Consortium), co-published a data on retailing in September, data showed that non-food e-commerce sales increased by 5.4% year-on-year.
