Alibaba International Is Open to B2B Sellers in the U.S.

Alibaba group is opening it’s alibaba.com platform to U.S. manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors to help them access the $23.9 trillion global B2B e-commerce market.

According to the August 15 media news, Alibaba has recently reached a partnership with U.S. logistics provider ShipStation to expand business opportunities for E-sellers in the United States.

It is reported that U.S. sellers will be able to use Alibaba B2B e-commerce platform in the United States and outside the business. ShipStation is focused on providing shipping solutions to e-commerce retailers. In addition to alibaba, ShipStation has partnered with WooCommerce, eBay, amazon and Jet. In addition, its payment partners include PayPal, and its shipping partners include FedEx and UPS.

With Alibaba, ShipStation will enable sellers to take advantage of new wholesale sales opportunities and transportation to achieve their long-term goal of creating the next generation of trading experiences. Ultimately, Alibaba and ShipStation want to build a corresponding audience for their brands.

Previously, small and medium-sized businesses in the United States could only purchase goods from Alibaba.com. The new channels, new network of industry partners, and Alibaba international’s nationwide speaking tour are all aimed at further promoting better sales and sourcing for the 30 million small and medium-sized enterprises in the United States.

Alibaba International has launched a range of new features for new U.S. sellers. U.S. sellers will get an easy-to-use interface for building and managing stores on the platform, CRM and digital marketing tools, and online payment features starting July 25. But sellers in New York and Nevada are temporarily unable to use online payments immediately.

In addition, Alibaba International has established a customer team in the United States to support the successful presence of small and medium-sized enterprises. As more sellers move in, buyers will have a wider choice of purchases, a move that will benefit not only U.S. sellers. Not only that, Alibaba international has also improved its search function to provide search results for buyers who purchase.

To further support U.S. small and medium-sized businesses on the platform, Alibaba International says it is building an ecosystem of industry partners to provide these companies with the goods and services they need in global trade.
