European Parliament: Central Bank digital currency to reshape competitive edge in encrypted market

July 25, according to Cointelegraph News, commissioned by the European Parliament’s Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee (ECON), a study on the subject of financial science and Technology competition was published on July 20.

The study found that the central bank’s digital currency could be a “remedy” for the lack of a competitive strategy in encryption.

The arrival of licensed cryptocurrencies from Banks and even central Banks will restore the current level of competition in the cryptocurrency market and increase the number of competitors.

ECON Research points out that competition issues can be divided into “encrypted money market” competition between cryptographic currencies, and “inside” the “encrypted money market” competition between the purse and the Exchange service providers.
