Speaking at the krasnoyarsk economic forum BBS, argyom sokolov, President of the federation of Russian Internet trading companies, said Russia’s e-commerce market could expand by 12 percent to 1.4 trillion rubles in 2019, TASS reported
“The Russian e-commerce market is growing rapidly, growing at a rate of 20-25% in recent years,” Sokolov said in his speech.
According to the Russian Federation of network trading companies, the Russian e-commerce market reached 1.25 trillion roubles (about 129.6 billion yuan) in 2018. The market share of Russian domestic e-commerce companies and foreign cross-border e-commerce enterprises was 62% and 38%, respectively.
