To make paying for government services easier, Dubai’s Department of Finance has teamed up with Smart Dubai and emaratech to launch a new digital wallet called noqodi, which can be used to pay for a variety of government and non-government expenses, Gulf News reported on May 6.
Abdul RahmanSaleh Al Saleh, director of the Dubai Finance Bureau, said the Dubai Finance authority hoped to provide more secure and convenient payment methods to government service customers by working with Smart Dubai. Digital wallet noqodi is another new initiative of Dubai government’s smart terminal Dubai Now platform.
