London has the largest number of AI companies in Europe

London Mayor Sadik Khan released a report on June 11 that there are currently 758 artificial intelligence technology companies in London, far beyond other major European cities such as Paris and Berlin.

The report was commissioned by sadiq khan, a consultancy, and released during the London technology week.

According to the report, the number of artificial intelligence technology companies in London is currently twice that of Paris and Berlin.

In 2017, the amount of financing for artificial intelligence companies in London increased by more than 50% to more than 200 million pounds (about 267 million US dollars); currently, 13 universities in London have established undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses related to artificial intelligence, machine learning and so on.

In addition, the London technology industry has attracted many Chinese companies to participate in the booming process.

To further consolidate London’s technological innovation capabilities, Sadik Khan also announced a roadmap to promote smarter London construction, including improved fiber connectivity, application testing for fifth-generation mobile communications technology (5G), and smoother public institutions,Data sharing, etc.
