Visa spends 12.5 million US dollars on Latin American mobile payment YellowPepper

Visa’s investment in YellowPepper is part of its global strategy. Visa’s global strategic vision is to further strengthen its support for new partners in Latin America through the development of the YellowPepper ecosystem to “redefine and enhance the shopping experience of millions of consumers around the world”. After the completion of this round of investment, YellowPepper’s total funds will exceed 50 million US dollars (about RMB 32,0415 million).
Prior to investing in YellowPepper, Visa also completed financing for digital banking SolarisBank, US open payment platform Marqeta, financial technology company Chain, Swedish financial technology company Klarna, US mobile payment company Square and mobile payment company Stripe.
