Thailand has enacted a revised e-commerce tax law

Recently, Thai government gazette website published an amendment to the tax law.

The newly revised e-commerce tax law explicitly levies taxes on e-commerce operators with more than 3,000 remittance records in a single account and more than 400 remittance records in multiple accounts, and the amount exceeds 2 million baht. The law also requires all e-commerce business operators to submit their relevant documents to the tax bureau by March 22, 2020.

In addition, Thailand’s new e-commerce tax law supports electronic payment of taxes, providing a more convenient way for e-commerce operators to pay taxes.
